Fishergate Recreation Ground, Nr Brighton & Hove – New Play Equipment (10128/D)

The project aims to develop a new, exciting children’s play area, accessible to both disabled and non-disabled children, using recycled, environmentally friendly materials and equipment; working to Play England’s 10 Principles of Play. The current play equipment is over 20 years old installed second hand in 2001. The new play area will encourage bio diversity by providing exciting new structures stimulating play, allowing children of different ages to play together. New trees and shrubs will be planted; together with bird and bat boxes throughout the Rec. The play area is designed in partnership with users ensuring that it will be a fit for purpose, lasting facility for future generations.
The Trust grant will contribute towards the new play equipment.
