Fishwick Local Nature Reserve – wetlands

Fishwick Wetlands is a major element of the Fishwick Local Nature Reserve Scheme, which is being developed by a partnership that includes Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Preston City Counci land Lancashire County Council (Remade). Adjacent to the site is a wetland in private ownership that is rapidly drying out. The Fishwick Wetlands project will create wetlands adjacent to this on Preston City Council land, improve ditches, enhance meadow areas and create access.
