Flatts Lane Arboretum

The creation of a native arboretum on Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park: native wildflowers, trees and hedgerow shrubs will be planted to enhance the ecology, amenity and educational value of a small wood (3569 m2). A new footpath, with identification boards and an information panel will describe and identify trees. Free leaflets will be available to visitors, containing further information on the site and its biodiversity. These facilities will be supported by educational walks and activities, for schools and the public, in the arboretum. Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park is open year-round and does not charge for entry.
