Fleming Park Restoration Project

To improve the habitats and infrastructure of Fleming Park for wildlife and the public through working with volunteers to: • Manage and improve wildlife habitats on the site, including creation of defined wildlife areas and removal of invasive species. • Improve access through maintaining existing pathways and introducing a way-marked trail. • Install park furniture including seats, benches and bins. • Install interpretation boards and educate local people about the wildlife value of the site. • Make improvements to boundary fences and access points to improve the aesthetic appearance to those entering the park. • To set up a sustainable community group to continue practical work after the life of the project.
