Flitton Moor – Action for Biodiversity

Flitton Moor Local Nature Reserve and County Wildlife Site is a wetland area within the Flit Valley, designated as one of sever Wildlife Priority Areas in Beds by English Nature. The purpose of this project is to restore this wetland habitat by implementing the management plan measures by repairing dams to raise water levels, provide a bridge for stock to access grazing, pollarding ancient willows. A leaflet will also be produced relating to the area
