Folly Farm Interpretation (Phase 1) and Badger Hide

Folly Farm is a 250-acre nature reserve owned and managed by Avon Wildlife Trust. We have recently restored the 18th century buildings to create a regional environmental centre.

We will help visitors to explore wildlife, conservation and heritage through interpretation installations and information, including site map leaflets, a wildlife brass rubbings trail, portable bird call ID devices and interpretation panels. A new badger hide overlooking the active badger sett will be created to reduce disturbance and improve visitors’ experiences.

This project is the first stage; future plans will utilise digital media interpretation within the badger hide and 18th century stable.
