Footpath Upgrade At Claverham By Yatton Parish Council

A walking for health programme has been introduced in Yatton and Claverham Parish by Yatton Parish Council and Yatton Family Practice. Six walks have been selected and leaflets printed. A walk volunteer has been appointed and trained and Yatton Family Practice GPs are prescribing the walks as part of a patient’s treatment. One of the walks at Claverham uses the footpath across the village which has eight stiles. These need to be replaced by kissing gates to enable the less mobile to take part. North Somerset Council will supply the gate kits but the Parish is responsible for their installation.
