Foulshaw Moss Improvements Project

Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve is a 350ha lowland raised mire (peat bog) that has been restored by Cumbria Wildlife Trust. This project is part of an ongoing programme to continue to restore and improve the reserve. This project will remove rhododendrum and western hemlock from the site, provide benches at the main view points, provide a picnic bench, bird feeders and seed at a newly created bird feeding viewing area, provide 15 explorer backpack for young visitors and a visitor guide.
