Fratton's Kingston Recreation Ground, Portsmouth - Transformation (5028)

A capital improvement project to transform the single site which is the public park known as Kingston Rec. The park is available to the general public 366 days a year. It has been used for generations of families. Extensive and comprehensive consultation has shown strong community support for the fine, landscape architect-devised proposals which will bring natural materials to an exciting and much-enhanced play area, a green gym and challenging climbing opportunities and table tennis tables in the teen area. The small wooded area will be enhanced by nature trail features. These proposals aim to create an inspiring space that will please, excite, challenge and satisfy children and adults alike.
