Frecheville Park, Sheffield – Improvements

Landscape improvements to a public park: Additional and replacement equipment for the playground which is tired and run down (this phase), a bike and scooter track, a path to complete an accessible circuit around the pond, an access path and a seating area.

The park has not seen improvements in several decades. Two sports courts lay unmaintained and inaccessible to the public, in this small but very well used park. The park is adjacent to areas of high depravation and greater access will encourage more physical activity and improve health outcomes
