The project will create a more biodiverse, accessible, and welcoming environment through targeted infrastructure improvements and ecological enhancements.

The project will convert areas of hard surfacing into wildflower meadows, install a wildlife pond with timber decking, and introduce ecological learning zones with habitat signage, seating, and planting. It will also include tree planting, new planting beds, and improved pathways to support inclusive access. The works are based on extensive community consultation, including a design competition with the London School of Horticulture and input from Lucas Vale Primary School.
