Friends of Brierdene

Brierdene is 11 acres of grassland and dene in Whitley Bay in North Tyneside, it is classified as a conservation area. The area is owned by North Tyneside Council but is effectively managed by Friends of Brierdene (FoB). The group has over 50 volunteers who help with projects to conserve and develop the land. The group holds regular public meetings to discuss plans.
