Friends of Damson Parks, Solihull – Park Footpath Improvements (005832)

The project is to turn a local park into an open space that is fully accessible and able to be used by the whole community including those with disabilities and parents with children in pushchairs. The main aim is to get a circular route pathway built around the perimeter of the park which will enable everyone to use it in all weathers and not just the summer when it is dry.

Currently there are pathways around 75% of the park. This is the last stretch of the footpath which will achieve a 1.1KM footpath around the perimeter of the park.
