Friston Forest Project

The aim of the project is to develop a mosaic of habitats that improves the biodiversity of the site and contributes to the value of an adjoining NNR. It will focus on natural processes such as livestock grazing, as well as selective woodland management, to reduce the effect of an inappropriate plantation and encourage a greater diversity of wildlife on an important downland habitat.
Our application is funds which will sustain the project in its first three years.
