Fritillary Butterfly Project

This project will support the delivery of the UK Biodiversity Action Plan for the small pearl-bordered fritillary butterfly. LCF funds will be used to carry out

a) Scrub and bracken management to create habitat for fritillary butterfly caterpillars
b) Woodland thinning and coppicing to create habitat for foraging fritillary butterflies.

Habitat management will be carried out at Devon Wildlife Trust nature reserves, each within 10 miles of an eligible landfill site.
