Fritillary Protection at Howe Ridding Wood

The aim of this project is to undertake a programme of conservation management at Howe Ridding Wood Nature Reserve that will maintain ideal habitat to enable fritillary butterflies to flourish. The practical work will directly deliver objectives in the UK and Cumbria BAPs for the high brown fritillary and pearl bordered fritillary.
