The project aims to improve the current play equipment in our village by creating two separate play areas, one for toddler and pre school age children and one area for age 4+ with age appropriate equipment in both areas. Currently we have very minimal equipment with only balancing equipment for the older children and two toddler swings. The new play areas will include equipment to both stimulate and challenge the children of the village and also give a nice area for families to spend time together whilst encouraging outdoor play. We want our children to have a wider choice of play equipment that they can play on with peers of their own age instead of waiting for the older children to get off the baby swings and the older children not being able to climb on equipment incase they hurt the little ones.
