Gailes Marsh – Pond Improvements

The objective of this project is to enhance the visitor experience to Gailes Marsh by imprroving the path system. This will include path strimming as well as building up a section of path through a wet section. In addition the area of open water will be increased to benefit the invertebrate life, especially dragonflies, that the site is prized for. Excavated material will be used to construct the raised path, and to construct a nesting bank for sand martins.
