Gallows Bridge Farm purchase and restoration

This project will acquire and restore the 58ha Gallows Bridge Farm at Grendon Underwood in Bucks. It will constitute an extension of BBOWT’s existing 52ha Upper River Ray Meadows. After purchase BBOWT plans to restore a brook, create scrapes, ponds and ditches to develop the wetland habitat, and create new flower meadows. Public access work will include the creation of paths and a new hide to view species such as Curlew.
