Garsington Gets Greener

Garsington Gets Greener has two main aims:-
a) to replace and replenish trees and hedging around the village to improve biodiversity, and
b) to create educational opportunities to give residents (including schoolchildren) a deeper understating of ecology and the natural environment. We will create areas of natural woodland accessible to all.

This application is to fund work in two key areas: Parsler’s Piece, pastureland that was converted into an area for public use in 2004, and the Memorial Playing Field, particularly around the Children’s playground and surrounding hedges.
