Gazen Salts Nature Reserve, Sandwich - Wetland Restoration (1763/DA)

The project aims to restore valuable open standing water and reedbed BAP habitats providing long term sustainable solutions to insufficient water supply; enhancing brackish water feed from River Stour aiding year round supply to whole site and by harnessing currently wasted rainwater runoff to freshwater pond. The Trust grant will contribute toawrds the wetland restoration.
