GDA Charity Office and Community Centre: Phase 3 Re-development

The third and final phase of re-development of GDA’s site completes our objective to adapt our building (comprising charity office and community centre) and external landscape (primarily a car park) to meet the huge increase in demand for our services over recent years. In addition to enable one of Gloucestershire’s most marginalised disabled groups – the Deaf Community – to present a more confident face to mainstream society in the 21st century. Phase 3 will address making substantial repair to our roofing; reconfiguring space within the charity offices to create a new hearing aid clinic and equipment room; and replacing a very old, narrow, steep staircase to give better access for our service users to a first floor consulting/meeting room.
