George Road Community Church, Oldbury – Roofing Project (40106/D)

The project aims to replace the entire roof as it is leaking very badly. The following work will be carried out from day one:

•Provide suitable, sufficient means of access to all elevations with scaffolding.
•Strip roof of slates, ridge tiles, laths and flashing and remove from site.
•Re-felt and lath using Tyvek supro breathable roof membrane.
•Replace lead work, all lead work to be bonded to brickwork.
•Re-slate roof using Spanish cembrit Quarryn 1100 slates (30yr manufactures guarantee).
•Lay and point concrete ridge tiles.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the roofing work.
