George Street Park Improvements Project

We will undertake significant landscape improvements in an inner city, urban park in order to increase bio-diversity and the number of visitors and make it a safer, cleaner, greener place for all. Working with local residents, school and community groups we will develop a sustainable amenity and improve their quality of life. We will install secure railings and gateways, refurbish a play area, improve an informal games space, renovate seating and litter bins, create a nature conservation area, improve shrubs, raised beds, turfing and trees, and develop an ‘urban wildlife’ art trail
