Get into a Scrape at Kersal Dale

The bid aims to involve local volunteers in a project to manage the waterflow through part of the woodland to create a wetland scrape and broader stream habitat. This will allow a diversity of habitats in the area and take water away from the path, making the site more accessible to the local community. A variety of tasks will be available to the volunteers including creating a wetland scrape, widening the stream channel, vegetation clearance, tree planting, installation of drainage system, path maintenance and installing bird and bat boxes
