Along the upper reaches of the River Eden is heavily infested with invasive giant Hogweed. This plant is adversely affecting the river ecology and has the potential to spread up and down stream from its current extent. The aim of the project is to develop long-term programme of control of giant hogweed on the upper River Eden.
