Gibbet Hill Wood – Creating All Year Round Access

Upgrading the circular surfaced path to increase accessibility within Gibbet Hill Wood and across the wider green and urban landscape making this important 800m trail accessible all year round. At key sections of the trail we will install a good quality path with solid foundations, hard wearing surface and appropriate drainage to ensure the path does not sink into the wet ground and no vegetation can grow through (which could potentially create tripping hazards.) This good quality path work will ensure that this section of the trail is accessible in even after the wettest of weathers. We would also like to install 2 large welcome signs to publicise this site for even more people to use and enjoy as a natural green space on their doorstep.
