GILCRUX VILLAGE HALL DEVELOPMENT

The intention is to fully repair and refurbish the current Village Hall, expand facilities to include a purpose built multi media meeting room and improve the function facilities available. As a result the Hall will be more energy efficient and will less of a burden to the environment. By working hard to design a building that utilises modern technology, eco friendly methods and recyclable materials, the Village Hall will achieve an A rating energy efficiency compared to the current G rating, and reduce its carbon footprint. One exciting design feature of the project is the creation of a glass fronted entrance/ walkway which will also serve as a much needed Youth Shelter. The additional advantage of this, together with the new rear extension, is that it will also provide the hall with secondary insulation, again supporting its energy efficiency.
