Gisburn Community Park

To provide a park for Gisburn village and the surrounding area. The park will include 3 play areas for children aged 2-5, 6-11. There will be multi sport area for children aged 11+. Additionally the park will have a cycle track; currently there is nowhere safe for children to cycle in the village. The village is bisected by 2 busy trunk roads. At the top of the park will be a viewing platform, with a piece of sculpture, reflecting the history of the area. The sculpture will be designed in consultation with local residents and children.
