Gleadless Valley Community Meadows And Woods

Our project aims to restore wildflower meadow habitats and selected ancient woodland areas, and improve community access, in the Gleadless Valley Local Nature Reserve. Involving the community and volunteers.

We aim to:-
Restore and improve 4.5 hectares of ancient woodland and 5.5 hectares of wildflower meadow.
Improve 70m of path through step construction and 270 of boundary to improve community safety, site protection & public access.
Involve the local community and volunteers in delivering the project through a programme of community and volunteer workdays.
