Going the Whole Hog

Countryside Rangers and volunteers will work with young people to raise awareness of the steady decline in hedgehog numbers and encourage school pupils to improve their grounds, green spaces and gardens for hedgehogs with the installation of hibernation boxes. and also assisting Bats boxes will also be installated at the same sites. Wildflower areas will be planted in the vicinity of the hibernacula and bat boxes to increase the biodiversity of the area for all the native wildlife.
