Good Conservation Depends on Good Science – Protecting High Wood Ridge

This project will protect the important wet woodland and acid grassland habitats at High Wood & Meadow nature reserve by allowing us to carry out practical conservation work.

Volunteers from the local community will carry out conservation tasks engaging them with their green space and imparting a sense of responsibility for the area.

The project will lead to the protection and enhancement of the habitats identified in Northamptonshire’s BAP through ecological surveys, monitoring and landowner liaison in the whole High Wood Ridge area.
