Goodmayes Park Tree Planting Project

To create a woodland belt and arboretum by planting approximately 12,000 native whips and 18 large standard trees in Goodmayes Park in Redbridge which falls within the top 20-40% most deprived parts of the country. This project will improve the biodiversity value of the park and provide a further landscape feature and work towards the targets of the local biodiversity action plans. Local people have been involved in consultation prior to the works as well as in teh planting itself.
