Goostrey Village Hall & Playing Fields, Cheshire - Astroturf playing surface replacement (008039)

The project aims to replace the existing astroturf surface, which has reached the end of its usable life. The surface no longer drains leaving large areas of standing water with muddy, slippery patches. The deterioration of the current surface has had a significant impact on community activities, including the cancellation of social tennis, junior tennis coaching sessions and football games. The works will install a new astroturf surface that will not only rejuvenate the tennis courts but also facilitate the other sports such as football, basketball and pickleball which will benefit both the physical and mental health of the community.
