Gorilla Learning Space – Inspiring tomorrow’s conservationists

Bristol Zoo Project is an award-winning visitor attraction located on 136 acres of nature-rich land on the edge of Bristol. This project, the Central African Forest learning space, will be the most physically immersive learning space at Bristol Zoo Project. Incorporated into the Gorilla House itself and part of the Central African Forest Habitat, it will be the first element of the new zoo to open to the public in early 2025. School children, community groups and visitors will learn next to our troop of Western lowland gorillas. Teaching will connect the public with our flagship conservation project in Equatorial Guinea, where we work in the wild to protect Western lowland gorillas and other threatened species.
