Goring on Thames - St Thomas Church Refurbishment

The Extension and Refurbishment of the Village Parish Church : • a wider extension along the south wall to include a meeting room, toilet facilities with disabled access, kitchen and servery • an opening in the south wall to access the extension • re-positioning of the font within the body of the church • the continuation of the use of the north door as the main entrance and the retention of the west door for weddings etc • the movement of the rood screen by 30ft, to be level with the communion rail • the replacement of the flooring with flagstones • the replacement of the pews with chairs and benches • improvements to the heating system
