Gosport BMX Track, Gosport – Floodlight Installation, and track extension (007553)

Improvement to Gosport BMX riding facility to enable year round riding opportunities that significantly extend it’s usable time, particularly through Autumn & Winter, allowing the local community and keen BMX racers across the region have safe places to ride, train or get exercise through BMX cycling.
Installing modern, economical and sustainable floodlighting will help maximise the use of one of the UK’s leading BMX facilities and support sport and exercise at all levels. The Community will have somewhere that welcomes them and something rewarding to do, whilst the quality of the facility will support talented riders who may dream of representing their country at a World Championship or even the Olympics.
Increased interest after an incredible Olympic Games for Team GB BMX riders has driven up attendee numbers at the track and interest outside of our only current weekend offering.
