Gosport Methodist Church - Stone Work Repair (1704/D)

The project aims to preserve the church for community use by repairing the tracery stones, part of the south elevation tower apertures, which are severley corroded. These will be cut out and replaced with all open and defective joints to be repaired. On the west elevation of the same premises minor mortar repairs to be completed, along with "piecing in' part of the corroded mullion, and to repoint all open and defective joints. Also on the west elevation, a stone lintel to be repaired. The Trust grant will contribute towards the stone work repair.
