Removal of invasive species from a SSSI site. Invasion by Birch, Oak and Willow constantly compete with Sphagnum Moss, rarely found in areas subject to urban pollution, for moisture. The area of Seckar Wood also enjoys SSSI status because of it containing a variety of habitat types.
