Grand Union Canal habitat improvement

Restoration of a former wetland area on the banks of the Grand Union canal. Creation of a habitat for a number of species with a particular focus on Water Voles. The work will include tree removal, excavating leaf matter and sediment to create on-line ponds of variable depths. Creation of an interpretation zone on the Canal towpath.
