Granville Park Playing Field; Aerial Cable Runway

The Granville Playing Field is located in Slough, Berkshire in the disadvantaged ward of Manor Park.
There is a high level of street crime among the young people of the area and it was realised that the provision of better and more interesting play equipment in the playing field would help to engage the young people and help to reduce the incidence of street crime.
2 separate consultations were carried out at the local Young People’s Shelter in Manor Park and on both occasions the aerial runway was the first choice of the young people.
