Grassland Restoration Silverwood Farm

The project will include the fencing of species rich Lowland Meadow (Priority Habitat) grassland to allow grazing to take place.

The costs include some initial clearing, fencing, gates and cattle corral.

The land will be managed by the Conservation Service

The fields will be cut for hay and the aftermath grazed to increase species diversity

The specific objectives of the Project are:-

To protect and enhance species rich lowland meadow grassland
To increase species diversity on the Meadows
To allow the fields to be grazed after hay cutting takes place
