Grazing out West

London Wildlife Trust will be restoring the neutral grassland habitat at Huckerby’s Meadows nature reserve. We’ll be grazing the meadows with Sussex cows, whilst local volunteers and contractors cut alternate areas of the fields and pastures throughout the year to encourage plants, pollinators and invertebrates. The project at Huckerby’s Meadows will be contributing to a wider conservation grazing project across five nature reserves in Hillingdon, West London.
