Great Torrington Town and Community Hall Lift Project

Installation of a lift connecting four levels of Great Torrington Town Hall. The main community activity areas are all on the first floor of the building. This includes a large main hall, a small meeting room, a committee room, an ICT suite, a kitchen, toilets and landing. A lift large enough to comfortably carry a wheelchair or mobility scooter is essential to ensure people with permanent or temporary disabilities can access all community activities within the hall. The lift can also be used by parents with pushchairs and to ferry food to and from the first floor for major functions.
