GREEG Community Market Garden – Phase 2

The derelict greenhouse and walled garden area will continue to be redeveloped. We are no longer working in partnership with Greenway but still continue to develop their original plan.
Landfill tax credit funding from North Ayrshire Council has been used to build Phase 1 of the project. We have installed a greenhouse and a few raised beds. Seeds and seedling are already being grown in the Enterprise Workshop and the first HotBox and Wormboxes have been built.

Phase 2 of the project would see further development of the area, polytunnels and more raised beds which will be shared with the Local Community
