Green Loft Project, Harrisons Recreation Ground and Welfare Institute, Great Wyrley, Staffs

This project is for the replacement of worn out water pipes in the loft, some of which are 100 years old. It also involves the insulation of the loft to conserve energy. The Institute has had two burst pipes in the last two years, which has caused damage to the décor of the facility. A series of upgrades were made to the gas and electric systems of the facility at a cost of over £9000 in 2008 and this project would complete what is needed to enable to building to be efficiently heated and well maintained.
