Green Space (Court Two) Templars Estate, Witham

Over the last two years, Groundwork, Greenfields Housing Association, Braintree District Council and the local community group have been working together with the residents to focus on the needs of the residents and have identified several projects that have been ranked in importance by the community group. This has led to a range of projects focused on improving the look of the estate and providing training and employment opportunities.

Current partners Groundwork Hertfordshire, Greenfields Housing Associaiton and Braintree District Council are currently working together to form a ‘green team’ to work across the district. This project identifies young people who are currently out of work and provides a on the ground training scheme learning about landscaping.

To continue to enhance the Templars esate we would like to tie these two projects together by focusing on improving the look of the estate for the residents and using the green team to action much of this work.
