Green Villages – Carno Community Centre

To improve the energy efficiency and reduce running costs of the community centre. Measures will include improved heating controls, new heating boiler (to replace old oil boiler) and solar water heating. Inefficient louvered windows will be replaced with double-glazed units and insulation in walls and roof will be improved. Electricity consumption will be reduced through fitting movement-sensitive lighting in key areas and installing low energy bulbs. Depending on the type of boiler installed, electric cookers and water heaters may also be replaced.
