Greenacres Lagoon Improvements

This project is to make improvements to Greenacre Lagoon, Barrow upon Trent. Restored after gravel extraction and now a public open space the vegetation and lagoon areas spanning 10.45 hectares are well established. Improvement works will include tree sapling aftercare, formative pruning on a number of large planted areas, large areas of blackthorn scrub management, management of small reed beds around the pond and clearing out of the man made stream.
