Greener Grangetown – Taff Embankment Cycling Interface

The Taff Embankment, which runs parallel to the River Taff in Cardiff, is being upgraded as part of the Greener Grangetown scheme. The scheme has the full support of Sustrans and is creating an innovative bicycle priority street which will be over 500 meters long, connecting Cardiff Bay to the city centre, along the Taff Trail. Our project will install an ‘interface’ at the southern end of Taff Embankment that will allow cyclists and pedestrians to pass each other in a safe environment. The ‘interface’ structure will protect this section of the Taff Trail from the encroachment of motorised vehicles.
